AMERICAN RV AND FIFTH WHEEL PITCHES

We are one of the few touring sites in the South West who are set up for accommodating large units and big rigs! We know it's not easy to find American RV and 5th wheel caravan sites in the UK, so let us make it easy for you!

We have hardstandings to cater for large RVs of up to 40 feet, as well as several longer length hardstandings around the park to accommodate RVs on our site over 28 feet.

We also have several hardstandings which are suitable for Fifth Wheels, whether you'd like to stay hooked up during your stay, or take your truck out to sightsee around Somerset and Dorset.

Long Hazel Park is accessed by main A roads directly in to Sparkford, with a double lane entrance road, so no difficult Somerset country lanes to navigate. As the old Sparkford football pitch, we're level across the whole park. Our wide, gravel roads make accessing your pitch easy too.

We are open all year, with RV and Fifth Wheel pitches available throughout all seasons, Bank Holidays and even Christmas Day. We are an adult only touring caravan and lodge park, rated as five stars by VisitEngland and a Gold Award winner from The AA, putting us in the top small sites in the UK. We are also a Premier Parks Top 100 UK site.

If you'd like to bring your American RV or Fifth Wheel to stay with us, please get in touch and we'll work out the best pitch for you. Our RV and Fifth Wheel pitches are fully serviced and all on hardstandings. All of our pitches also have room for pull outs to site your RV or Fifth Wheel. Our fully serviced RV and Fifth Wheel pitches provide 16 amp electric; grey and black water drains and a standpipe on your pitch.

We're around half an hour away from Empire RV in Emborough, Somerset, and are happy to take delivery of your RV to our park for you to join us on holiday.

If you're looking to pitch up your motorhome, campervan or caravan in Somerset and are under 40 ft, we have touring park availability for you too!

Please note we are unable to offer seasonal or permanent pitches for RVs or Fifth Wheels.

Don't just take our word for it, see what RV and Fifth Wheel owners have to say about us:

Karen Lancaster - May 2023

We stayed in our American 39.5 foot RV and I have to say it was amazing. The pitch was easily accessible with all the facilities you need to hand e.g grey waste, black waste, electrical hookup and fresh water service.

Alan and Pamela were honestly the greatest hosts and there was nothing that was too much for them, even noticing that I had a hose leak, so Alan repaired it for us! Absolutely blown away with the service. Every need was catered for and any issues were dealt with with no issues e.g. Wi-Fi codes.

The campsite was well maintained, immaculate and was a home away from home. Even the washrooms were spotless.

We will definitely be back! Thank you for a lovely stay.

Joy Owen - March 2023

This is a great site for anyone with an RV, ours is 32ft long. Great access and close to the A303. It is a well kept and well run site. It is also nice and quiet with a pub just down the road.

Kim Witterick - September 2022

What a wonderful small but friendly site. My husband had no trouble bringing our 5th wheeler on to this site and parking it. We had electric and water hook- up and grey/black waste too. We were OK to reach the black waste with our hoses, but if not the owner would have let us use his hose to connect to the black. Picnic tables. W.C / Showers are open 24/7 / night lights and full recycling on site (not many sites do this, including food waste being separate). There was nothing the owner wouldn't help us with on site as well as local knowledge of places to go and visit including discount codes where applicable. Our dog loved the site too, there was a lovely dog walk opposite the site for a nice short or long walk and owner had given us a dog walking map. We visited nearby the Haynes Museum /Fleet Air Arm Museum (my favourite) both are annual tickets in the price. Montacute House / Burnham-on-sea to name but a view places. Plenty of places nearby to eat including Mildmay Arms.

Lindsay Wicks - April 2022

Just spent 6 nights for Easter at this lovely immaculate site, Alan & Pamela are so welcoming and friendly nothing is to much trouble. It is great to find a site with a truly fully serviced pitch (Water Grey Water, & Black Water). We have an American RV not only was the pitch a great size but we could fully plumb in. This is a great place to stay and travel around the local area with the Haynes Museum just down the road and well worth a visit. We will definitely stay here again. Once again thank you Alan & Pamela for such a lovely time.

Albert Elphick - January 2022

Excellent facilities on pitch, water, power, black and grey waste disposal. Our vehicle is 10 meters long will a car in the back and there was still room for a larger motorhome. Site owner most helpful and knowledgeable about attractions in the local area.

Sue and Steve Bunting - December 2021

Long Hazel Park in Somerset what a fantastic site for American RVs easy access and very friendly owners. The site is exceptionally clean and the owners Alan and Pamela are very welcoming and happy to help you in any way they can. We've already booked our next visit for this year.
