EARLY MAY BANK HOLIDAY 8 - 11 MAY 2020
This year, the early May Bank Holiday has been changed to Friday 8 May to accommodate the 75th anniversary of VE Day.
As with all Bank Holidays, going away in the caravan or motorhome or off camping is priority for many, but we have two very special events to celebrate alongside VE Day this year.
Long Hazel Park was established post-World War 2 as a caravan park to home residents of Sparkford and the surrounding Somerset villages. We are therefore celebrating our own 75th birthday alongside VE Day!
Likewise, this weekend is a very important date in the West Country tourism calendar, with Somerset Day being celebrated on 11 May. Many events will be going on in the county, including at Haynes Motor Museum, Wincanton Racecourse, the Bath and West Showground at Shepton Mallet and lots of local food and drink festivals around the county.
If you would like to book to spend the weekend with us, please do get in touch at firstname.lastname@example.org or telephone 01963 440002.
