HIRE ADULT ONLY SELF-CATERING HOLIDAY LODGES IN SOMERSET
Our self-catering holiday lodges are available to hire for both long or short breaks in Somerset. We have three holiday lodges which are available for all year round use. We are situated in the village of Sparkford, South Somerset, and close to the Dorset border, making us an ideal base to explore the West Country.
Our holiday lodges are for adults only holidays for over 18s. Situated on a private area of our adult only caravan and camping park, we are very proud to be the only VisitEngland 5* touring and camping park in South Somerset. We have been named as the Bristol, Bath and Somerset Tourism Award's top Camping, Glamping and Holiday Park in 2020 and 2023.
Taking inspiration from classic log cabins, the three holiday lodges on-site are purpose built for all year round use. All of our lodges have private kitchens, living areas, bathrooms and bedrooms and are entirely self-contained. Our lodges are suitable for one to six guests in a lodge, depending on party size, with great living space. Parking is situated immediately outside of your lodge.
Our holiday lodges have double glazing, are substantially insulated and fully heated for your comfort in all seasons. Each lodge is fully furnished and equipped with cutlery, crockery and cooking utensils. We provide duvets, pillows and blankets. Free WiFi and TVs are available in each lodge.
Should you require accommodation adapted for the mobility impaired or wheelchair users, our Blackforest Lodge is fully adapted for your needs and sleeps up to four adults and our Maple Tree Lodge sleeps up to six adults. We provide some of the only fully wheelchair accessible holiday lodge rentals in Somerset and the South West. Our Tingdene Lodge is accessed by five steps and can sleep up to four adults. All of our holiday lodges have parking directly outside together with decking areas for al fresco dining.
Please note we are an adult only park (18+) and do not accept children in our holiday lodges for hire.

Our holiday lodges for hire are ideal if you're looking to holiday as a group of friends or family. Our largest holiday lodge can sleep up to six adults, with two large family bathrooms. It is possible for 14 people to sleep across our three holiday lodges for hire. We also find our holiday lodges very popular for groups who wish to holiday with caravan or motorhome owners, but do not have their own touring units. Our holiday lodges mean that you can holiday together, with different types of accommodation to meet individual needs. Many adult only groups wishing to holiday together also utilise our wheelchair accessible holiday lodges to accommodate those with access requirements in a group whilst they bring their own touring or tenting units.

There's loads to see and do in Somerset, and nearby Dorset, during your stay in one of our holiday lodges. Our holiday lodges are suitable for hire all year round and provide a spacious base for your holiday to the West Country. We can recommend great local businesses and pubs within walking distance or cycle routes across the county. Our local bus route runs from just 100 yards from our entrance taking you to local market towns, or on to Castle Cary railway station where you can catch a train to Bath in under an hour. If you're bringing your car, there's parking directly outside your holiday lodge and of course gives you the freedom to explore many of Somerset's hidden gems!

SELF-CATERING WEDDING ACCOMMODATION HOLIDAY LODGES IN SOUTH SOMERSET
We are ideally situated for weddings and event accommodation for Sparkford Hall, North Cadbury Court and The Sparkford Inn in South Somerset. Whether you are looking to stay as a couple or as a group of up to 14 adults across three private lodges, we make a great private base to get ready in peace and quiet. Our holiday lodges for hire provide a lot less restriction and a lot more space than a hotel or B&B, with your own private kitchen facilities. We can help arrange a route to walk to venues or provide telephone numbers of local taxis to help you get to the venue on time. There is private parking for up to two vehicles outside each holiday lodge.
We are also within a short distance of popular wedding venues in Castle Cary, Bruton, Yeovil, Sherborne and Frome.
WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE HOLIDAY LODGES FOR HIRE
We are dedicated in providing accessible accommodation for all on our touring park, campsite and across and our holiday lodges. Two of our holiday lodges for hire, the Blackforest Holiday Lodge and the Maple Tree Holiday Lodge, are fully wheelchair accessible and feature spacious holiday accommodation with large living areas, bedrooms and bathrooms complete with grab rails throughout. These two holiday lodges are accessed by ramps and are all on one level. Our wheelchair accessible holiday lodges are both bespoke builds, catering for a whole range of accessibility requirements. These holiday lodges also make it easy to holiday as groups across our touring park and camping facilities.
SUSTAINABLE AND RESPONSIBLE HOLIDAYS
We are committed to providing an eco-friendly experience at Long Hazel Park. In 2022 and 2023 we won two Bristol, Bath and Somerset Tourism Awards for Ethical, Responsible and Sustainable Tourism, showing our commitment to the environment and providing socially responsible accommodation.
In 2022 we committed to the David Bellamy Pledge for Nature in four categories. We planted lots of new native and evergreen trees to provide shelter and help absorb CO2 and we encouraged pollinators with new habitats and new flowerbeds. We also achieved two further pledges by providing habitats for wildlife and for endangered animals. One of our biggest new changes was to install an owl box just behind our holiday lodges.
As well as looking after nature, we're very keen recyclers on our park and encourage our guests to use our recycling facilities. South Somerset is incredibly committed to ensuring as little waste as possible goes in to landfill. Our newest holiday lodge shares our enthusiasm for recycling as it is clad with Kaycan; a wood-composite product manufactured entirely from recycled wood.

As a rural farming area, Somerset is well known for producing fantastic food and drink. From a village inn next door and a farm shop and cafe under a mile's walk away, to deliveries of local cider and baked foods and some of the best restaurants in the UK, there's loads to eat your way through!
