CANCELLATION POLICY

Please be aware that as your booking is for self-catering holiday touring park accommodation in the UK we are not obliged to make any refunds if you cancel your holiday booking for any reason when it is not our fault and the accommodation is made available for you. Our guests should protect their booking from unforeseen circumstances by taking out holiday insurance to cover cancellation. Insurance policies cover many events that could cause you to have to cancel their stay eg accidents, illness, injury and death. Guests are deemed to be aware of their responsibility to take out travel insurance. Often your household insurance includes some holiday cancellation cover. We strongly advise taking out comprehensive travel insurance to cover possible cancellation costs and your stay at our holiday park. If you choose not to then you accept responsibility for any loss that you may incur due to your cancellation. If you cancel and we manage to re-let your pitch, a refund, equivalent to the same amount which we let your pitch for less any re-advertising costs, last-minute discounts and administration charges will be made. Such payment to be made after conclusion of any occupation of the re-let pitch by a substituted guest(s) for the dates and times you originally booked. Alternatively, and at our discretion, we could deduct the refund payment off a future booking if taken up within one year of the original booking date. If guests who cancel without a refund being made want to book for next year then as a gesture of goodwill we will offer a 10% discount off a future booking for that year provided the holiday is for an equivalent period of time and is scheduled to be taken not more than one year from the original booking. If we don’t manage to re-let the dates we are entitled to keep the non-refundable deposit or the full amount paid, less any costs that we won’t incur such as cleaning and utility bills. Once you have booked we will make your pitch available to you and it is your responsibility to get to your accommodation and to take out insurance to protect your booking. If we cannot offer you accommodation because it is entirely our fault you will be entitled to a full refund. We cannot be held responsible for refunds in the event of a force majeure, cancellation of external events or noise or disturbance outside of our four boundaries. For bookings made via Pitchup, their terms and conditions as show on their website page in relation to our park apply as at the time of booking. These are “no refunds within 12 weeks of arrival date.” No refunds/discounts for inclement weather, late arrivals or early departures. If you need to cancel or amend your booking, please give as much notice as possible so that someone else has the chance to book. You may wish to buy holiday insurance for cancellations and for your property/injury whilst away. Please note that your deposit is paid to Pitchup.com and is non-refundable.

All future bookings for 2021 will be made under the assumption that our shower and toilet facilites may not be open due to COVID-19 restrictions.
