If you're looking for a special place to eat, we can recommend anywhere from local country pubs with great character, to Michelin-guide rated restaurants within a few miles from the park. Most nearby restaurants champion great Somerset produce too.

A fantastic local beautician offering massages is situated at the end of our village, just a mile's walk away. For an ultra special treat, you can even order from The Newt's farm shop for breakfast delivery of seasonal cruffins.

If you're looking for special Valentine's gifts, we can direct you towards Kilver Court and the Mulberry Factory Shop at Shepton Mallet; Clarks Village at Street or further afield to Bath. We are 4 miles from Castle Cary train station, which runs direct trains to Bath several times a day. How about booking a wonderful day out at the incredible spa, with stunning rooftop views of Bath? Time it right and you can see the sun set across the city!

On the touring park, we provide adult only accommodation with means no looking after the kids or grandkids to get in the way of your romantic weekend. Our hardstands are capable of taking motorhomes and caravans of up to 40 ft. Our shower block is also winter heated, with 16 amp electric hook-up included on all pitches, so you won't just have to depend on snuggling up to keep warm this Valentine's Day!
