EV CHARGING FOR CAMPING AND CARAVANNING GUESTS IN SOMERSET
We have installed new EV charging points for electric vehicle owners on our caravan park. As a key request from campers and motorhome owners with electric vehicles, we have improved our eco-friendly facilities by introducing two new EV points with room to charge four electric vehicles.​
EV FAST CHARGING POINTS
We have one Type 2 Rolec charging tower for use by our camping and touring customers. This tower is situated in front of our shower block facilities with parking on tarmac next to the charging point. The fast charger features 22kW charging points and is available for use 24 hours a day. Customers can access this facility by downloading the Monta App on their mobile phone or device to commence charging and pay online direct to Monta.
HOLIDAY LODGES FOR HIRE WITH EV CHARGING POINTS
For customers staying in our holiday lodges we also have a separate Rolec charging tower with 2 x 7.5kW type 2 charging points. There is dedicated parking for two EVs between two of our holiday hire lodges. Touring site customers can also access these subject to availability via the Monta App as before.
Our charging price is 75p per kW hour including VAT for our customers on site who can use the facilities overnight if they wish.
Please note we do not permit any other EV charging on site as our infrastructure to hook-up boxes will not support EV charging.
