Long Hazel Park is an Adult Only holiday touring and lodge park. Everyone staying at or visiting the Park must be aged 18 or over. We are open all year. Please bring ID with you as you may be asked to provide this on arrival or during your stay.

Bookings must not be for more than 42 consecutive nights. For bookings made more than 30 days before your arrival date, we ask for a 50% non-refundable part-payment, with the balance payable 30 days before your arrival date. Bookings made within 30 days of your arrival date must be paid in full on booking. Bookings for two nights or less require full 100% payment in advance. Pitches are allocated by us and we are unable to guarantee any specific pitch.

A booking constitutes a legally binding contract. Once your booking is confirmed, you are responsible for the total sum due on the booking confirmation document. Only those people named on your booking can access the Park or occupy your pitch. Anyone not named on your booking will not be permitted to stay and may be asked to leave the Park, with no refund or compensation given. If you are booking on behalf of others, they will be jointly and severally liable to pay the pitch fees for the booking. Please make sure you tell us at the time of booking who will be staying in your unit.

Your booking is for self-catering holiday touring park accommodation in the UK. We are not obliged to make any refund if you cancel your holiday for any reason which is not our fault and the accommodation has been made available to you. We are unable to make refunds within 12 weeks of your arrival date. If you need to cancel or amend your booking, please give us as much notice as possible so that someone else has the opportunity to book.

We strongly recommend taking out suitable holiday insurance to cover cancellation or other losses arising from unforeseen circumstances. If you cancel and we successfully re-let your pitch for all or part of the dates you originally booked, we will refund an amount equivalent to the amount received for the re-let, less any last-minute discounts, reasonable administration or re-advertising costs and any other costs incurred as a result of re-letting. Any refund will be made after the re-let has been completed. If we are unable to re-let the dates, we are entitled to retain the non-refundable part-payment or the full amount paid, less any costs which we would not have incurred, such as cleaning or utility costs.

Once you have booked, we will make your pitch available to you and it is your responsibility to get to your accommodation. No refunds will be made for late arrival, early departure, inclement weather or inability to travel. If we cannot honour your accommodation because it is entirely our fault, you will be entitled to a full refund. We cannot accept responsibility for circumstances beyond our reasonable control which prevent or materially affect the operation of the Park, or for events, activities or occurrences outside the Park boundaries. In exceptional circumstances, such as bereavement or inability to travel through ill health, for which we may require written proof, we may, at our discretion, allow a postponement or refund less any applicable administration costs and costs of re-letting the pitch.

Our standard arrival time is from 2:00pm. Arrivals between 9:00am and 11:00am will be charged £10.00 and arrivals between 11:00am and 2:00pm will be charged £5.00. Our standard departure time is before 11:00am. Departures between 11:00am and 2:00pm will be charged £5.00 and departures between 2:00pm and 6:00pm will be charged £10.00. If you arrive early or stay late without including this in your booking, we reserve the right to take payment from your card or you may pay the additional charge in cash. If you are arriving later than planned, please notify the Park as soon as possible.

Booking changes will be subject to an administration fee of 20% of the total booking value, with a minimum charge of £10.00, plus any applicable card charges. We can only change your booking once. Any changes must be made within one calendar year of the original booking, are subject to availability and may be subject to increased pitch fees.

Please tell us in advance if you plan to invite visitors onto our Park, which is private land and for which a visitor fee is payable. All visitors must be aged 18 or over. For unexpected visitors, you can pay by cash or card on the day. The visitor charge is £5.00 per person, whether arriving on foot or in a vehicle, with a maximum of four visitors per pitch. Visitor vehicles must be parked where directed.

Only one touring unit is permitted per pitch. A caravan pitch normally includes one car. A car accompanying a motorhome or campervan is subject to an additional vehicle charge. All awnings must be placed on gravel unless otherwise agreed with Management. If you have not booked an awning and decide to put one up after arrival, you must ask permission and may be required to move pitch and pay the additional charge. If you have booked a pitch with an awning and decide to remove it before the end of your stay, no refund will be given, as you have been allocated a larger pitch to accommodate the awning.

Tents booked for up to 4 nights will normally be pitched on grass, subject to ground conditions. All tent bookings for more than 4 nights will be pitched on gravel. During periods of inclement weather, the Park Owners reserve the right to pitch tents on gravel regardless of the length of stay.

The use of household domestic appliances in your touring unit or on your pitch is strictly prohibited. This includes washing machines, tumble dryers and electric vehicle chargers. Only low-wattage camping or touring appliances are permitted. One 16-amp hook-up connection per touring unit is allowed and no splitters are permitted. We reserve the right to disconnect any additional or unauthorised cables serving the same unit.

Electric and hybrid vehicles must only be charged using the designated EV charging points. Charging your vehicle from the Park electricity supply or your pitch hook-up is strictly prohibited. Unauthorised charging may cause damage to the Park's electrical infrastructure, for which you will be liable, and may result in termination of your stay. EV charging is charged separately via the charging app and is not included in your pitch fee. Cables are not supplied. There are two 22kW Type 2 charging sockets for touring guests and two 7.5kW Type 2 charging sockets within the lodge development for lodge guests.

A maximum of 4 dogs are permitted per touring booking. Dogs prohibited under the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991 (as amended) are not permitted. Dogs must be exercised off site at all times; there are no dog walks or dog bins on the Park. There is a public footpath immediately alongside the Park and another immediately opposite the Park entrance. Dogs must not be walked on the central lawned area, which is reserved for tents, and must be kept on a short lead at all times. All dogs must wear a collar with an identity tag showing the owner's name and address. If your dog fouls on the Park, you must clean it up and dispose of it in the Council bin opposite the Park entrance, not in our recycling bins. With the exception of guide dogs, dogs are not permitted in Reception or the Shower and Toilet Block. Pets must not be left unattended in touring units, vehicles or tents. If you bring a cat or other pet, please dispose of all litter in the Council bin opposite the Park entrance. We reserve the right to require an owner to remove any dog or other pet from the Park if, in the opinion of Management, it constitutes a persistent nuisance or danger to other guests.

Quiet hours must be respected between 10:00pm and 8:00am. Radio, music, televisions and voices must be kept at a low volume and car doors and boots should be closed quietly. General disturbance, excessive noise, antisocial behaviour or excessive drinking resulting in disturbance will not be tolerated. We do not accept bookings from party groups, including hen and stag parties.

Charcoal or gas BBQs may be used but must be extinguished after cooking. Please ask us for bricks to support disposable charcoal BBQs and prevent damage to the grass. We provide a metal disposal bin for ash and used disposable BBQs. No fire pits or open fires are permitted on the Park.

Drones, air weapons, firearms, fireworks, crossbows, quad bikes, electric scooters, Segways, hoverboards and similar devices are not permitted on the Park.

Please observe all speed limits, parking and traffic regulations on the Park and drive with due care. For touring units and tents, car parking is either on the pitch or in a designated parking area close by. Vehicles are brought onto the Park at your own risk and we are not responsible for loss or damage except where caused by our negligence or fault. If you are towing a car or trailer, please advise us in advance; additional charges apply. Commercial or working vehicles are not permitted on the Park.

Vehicles or touring units must not be washed on site using water from the Park standpipes. Our water is metered and we are charged for water and sewage disposal, and this cost is not included in your pitch fee. If you have booked a fully serviced pitch, please do not attach splitters to your water supply due to the risk of cross contamination. Our water pressure is high, so when using a water carrier with a float valve, please attend to any hosepipe leaks and reduce the water pressure to avoid blow-outs. We advise turning off the standpipe when you are away from the Park or during extremely cold weather.

Smoking and vaping are not permitted in Reception or the Shower and Toilet Block.

We ask you to recycle your waste using the bins provided. Food waste should be kept separate and placed in the brown food caddy, with other recyclable waste kept clean and easy to separate. If you prefer not to recycle, please dispose of your mixed waste off site. We cannot accept items such as spoiled tents, failed inflatable mattresses, car parts, broken items, clothes or shoes and can direct you to local recycling centres for disposal.

You are responsible for your personal possessions, vehicles and equipment while on the Park. We cannot accept responsibility for loss, damage or injury except where caused by our negligence or where we are otherwise legally responsible. If you leave personal possessions behind at the end of your holiday, we will endeavour to return them at your expense but cannot accept responsibility for them. Guests are responsible for any damage they or members of their party cause to Park property, facilities or equipment, other than reasonable wear and tear, and we reserve the right to recover the reasonable cost of repair or replacement.

The Management reserves the right to deny access or terminate the stay of any guest whose behaviour is deemed unsuitable or who seriously or persistently breaches these terms and conditions or the Park rules. Whilst every effort is made to comply with the information given, we reserve the right to alter, amend, cancel or postpone any published on-site events, facilities or amenities at our discretion.

In the event of a complaint, please contact the Park Owners immediately by telephone on 01963 440002 or by email at longhazelpark@hotmail.com. Complaints raised only after departure cannot be dealt with once you have left the site.
