Have you seen us in this month's Caravan Magazine and Campervan Magazine? They've chosen us as their Destination of the Month with Glastonbury Festival on the horizon. Make good use of their suggestions to visit King Arthur's remains at Glastonbury Abbey, but not before visiting King Arthur's Camelot hillfort at South Cadbury, just two miles away! The magazines also recommend a visit to Sparkford's own Haynes Motor Museum, just half a mile from our door.
Celebrating the best of West Coutry life, the Royal Bath and West Show at Shepton Mallet will take place from 30 May to 1 June 2024. With everything from the top locally produced cheese and cider to try; vintage farm machinery on display and animal displays to enjoy, there's something for everyone at the show.
Buses run from Sparkford High Street directly to the showground.
There's always lots to see and do in the vibrant county of Somerset - and you can easily hop across the border in to Dorset from our caravan park! With lots of National Trust properties and gardens to visit, you'll be able to soak up the best of the May Bank Holiday sunshine outdoors. We're within just two miles of three local Somerset village inns and Somerset boasts some of the most talked-about restaurants in the country, with Holm; Roth Bar and Grill; At the Chapel; Osip; The Old Pharmacy and many more within a short drive.
If you're looking for one-off things to see and do in Somerset, take a look at our "Visit Somerset" page, which shows off some of the best bits that you'll only find in our corner of the West Country! Or walk in the path of King Arthur and visit Camelot, just two miles away from the caravan park, following on through to his final resting place in Glastonbury.
