As an open all year caravan touring park, our hardstanding pitches are a great place to park your caravan or motorhome in November. We've rounded up some of the best things to see and do this November in Somerset to help plan your holiday!

Somerset has lots to offer all year, but Out and About Live have chosen us as a particularly great out-of-season stay, with recommendations of Wells and Glastonbury featuring high on their list.
​
Our recommendations for the autumn include visiting our local cider farm, King Brain Cider, at just a mile's walk; enjoying our nearby cycle routes; taking in the Somerset spectacle of carnival season or following the trail of King Arthur and the knights of the round table at Cadbury Hillfort.

Aside from Glastonbury Festival, Somerset Illuminated Carnival season is the biggest event in the Somerset calendar. Unlike the festival, you won't have to sell your left kidney to get hold of a ticket - because these are free! Expect lights, music, dancing and comedy.

A sell out event every year, G4 will be returning to Wells Cathedral for their annual "G4 Christmas" concert on Wednesday 27 November. Expect Christmas carols and covers of Christmas pop songs.

Get in to the Christmas spirit with further Christmas concerts at the cathedral in December, with The Christmas Orchestra Concert on 26th December and three carol concerts on 19th, 20th and 21st.

The Christmas Artisan Market returns to The Bishop's Palace in Wells on 8 & 9 November from 10:00 - 4:00. There's stalls including Christmas gift ideas and decorations, as well as live entertainment throughout the Palace.
​
Tickets include a reduce price admission to the Palace building and 14 acres of RHS partner gardens. The Bishop's Table cafe will be serving a seasonal Christmas menu with views of the Palace's croquet lawn.

The Newt is just 4 miles away from us and RHS members can visit for free on Tuesdays.
There's two big dates in the antiques and crafting calendars this November in Somerset. Take our local bus, just 100 yards from our entrance, directly to the Bath and West Showground in Shepton Mallet and pick out some great collectables.

In the build up to Christmas and New Year, why not book in a December holiday with us and enjoy the countdown to Christmas with Stourhead's famous light show or Bath's Christmas market.

We're also open for New Year's Eve, with pitches filling up very fast. Whether you're visiting loved ones; looking to get away from it or fancy partying the night away at our local village inn, you'll be very welcome to join us!

Spend the evening at Wells Cathedral with Let Me Presents for An Evening of Pink Floyd on 21st and 22nd November. Following two sold out nights of their Radiohead tour in 2024, the music of Pink Floyd will be performed live by a full band and a brass and swing ensemble.

Expect to hear hits and hidden gems from across their discography, with a particular focus on the inimitable run of records from the 1970s, including Dark Side of The Moon, Wish You Were Here and The Wall.
The London Concertante will be performing Christmas movie soundtracks including A Christmas Carol and Love Actually at Christmas at the Movies, Wells Cathedral
